Fall Series 2025
This series is an opportunity to explore and discuss topics regarding our inner worlds in a casual, relaxed environment.
August 27: Transforming the Inner Critic
We will discuss different theories about what the Inner Critic is, and then explore avenues that have helped people change it into a more useful and supportive presence.
September 10: The Poetry of Self Worth
We will discuss three specific poems from Nikki Giovanni, Mary Oliver, and Walt Whitman that encourage us to appropriately value ourselves.
September 24: Accessing Your Inner Strength
We all need a powerful, competent inner warrior to help us navigate our lives and protect what’s most important.
October 8: Benevolent (Non-Toxic) Masculinity
The mature soul is conscious of its different parts, including both masculine and feminine. Many of us have found few examples of healthy masculinity.
October 22: Tapping Into Creativity with Emotion, Body, and Imagination
We will discuss different theories about what the Inner Critic is, and then explore avenues for changing it into a more useful and supportive presence.
November 5: Shame Detox (for the Holidays)
Prepare yourself for the holidays with a targeted anti-shame vaccination.
Cost: $30 per class, or $150 for entire series
Limit 15 participants per class
All proceeds to benefit National Public Radio
Tea and light snacks will be provided, bring other snacks if you want
